INNOVATIVE AND BEST PRACTICES

The college has introduced various innovations that have shown a positive impact on the functioning of the college.

  • Attendance tracking system for students: Online Attendance system has been introduced to convey the parents about the attendance of their child through SMS. Al-Ameen College of law is the first institution to introduce the online attendance system
  • Greater impetus on guest lecturers: Sitting Honourable Judges of the High Court of Karnataka and legal Experts from varied fields are invited to deliver talk on different aspects of learning and practical use of instruments.
  • Installation of new fire extinguishing units: To provide safety, fire extinguishers have been installed at all strategic places and a group of office staff are trained to use it
  • Motivation to the faculty: On a regular basis faculty members are advised to do PhD and allowances for the PhD are given to the faculties. Consequently state and National   debates, moot court competitions, faculty development programmes and seminars are organized in this regard.
  • Swatch Bharath Abhiyan.  As an initiative of the Govt of India college has participate and organised the swatch Bharath Abhiyan as regular activity of the college
  • First aid kits: Throughout the college first aid facility is provided.
  • Awareness lectures and drives: New activities conducted to highlight the importance of legal issues and legal awareness programmes are organised
  • Joined hands to raise the funds up to Rs 5 lakh for the victims of Chennai Relief during floods in Chennai. Further the students of Al-Ameen College of Law worked as volunteers for the relief works in Chennai.
  • LEGAL AWARENESS PROGRAMMES: We at Al-Ameen organise legal awareness programs in other institutions and local areas to give the first hand information about the rights available in the different laws of the country
  • Internship Programme is a regular activity of the college under the direct supervision of the Honourable Judges of High Court of Karnataka
  • A stream of students regularly donate blood to support the poor and needy
  • Al-Ameen College of Law releases its Annual College Magazine which exhibits the extra talents of the students and the exposure of extra-curricular activities of the college 
  • The tree plantation programme in campus has contributed towards pollution free air and reduction in environmental hazards. People from the neighborhood visit the campus for evening walks and for enjoying fresh and clean air to maintain good health.
  • The College  NSS consists of  50 Volunteers comprising both boys and girls took up charge of social service, legal awareness programmes and legal literacy programmes
  • Al-Ameen Law review with ISSN No. 23478624 is published annually compiling the articles from Judges and  legal luminaries
  • Free Distribution of Medicines: It is the practice college that every year college on its own in association with Karnataka State Cancer Society organise Free Medical Check Up and Free Distribution of Medicines to the poor people
  • Raises the funds to help the NGOs to help the poor people. Rs 23000 was contributed to Swis Emous NGO leprosy NGO from Bombay and Raised funds to support the childrens suffering type diabetics
  • In association with JANASADBHAWAN NGO organises the seminars to the inmates of the Jail and Police officials recently we have organised the seminar in TUMKUR JAIL
  • We at Al-Ameen regularly do legal surveys and prepare the reports and the same is been submitted to the respective departments. Simultaneously college has taken the initiative to distribute the senior Citizen Cards to the people in Bangalore for free of cost
  • Blood grouping event was orgnised in JAYANAGAR Bangalore
  • Free Legal aid and legal literacy programme in the slum areas and outskirts of the Bangalore  is a regular activity of the college
  • Organised National Level Events to give students a best platform to exposed themselves with other law students and to develop arguments skills
  • Organised legal surveys involving the students to create a sense of responsibility
  • Blood grouping event was orgnised in JAYANAGAR Bangalore
