With the goal to work for the betterment of society and instill the spirit of social service among the young students, Al-Ameen College of Law established NSS Unit at institute level presently coordinated by Mr. Mubarak Khan, Faculty in Charge, Al-Ameen College of Law.

What It’s Really Like...

Currently, the Unit has over 100 active volunteers, working rigorously for the welfare of the society. The aim of the organization is to produce lawyers, who are socially and morally responsible and work for the development of nation.

There are some remarkable social service activities done by the unit. For instance, Lalbagh Cleaning; Breast Cancer Awareness Programme in collaboration with Naari Foundation, Bangalore; Slum Adoption Project focusing on education of children and awareness of development among villagers; Annual Camp etc. Tree plantation program was one step forward to make earth greener and sustainable. This may contribute towards not only the betterment of human society but bio-diversity as well.

Special Campting....

Special camping forms an integral part of NSS. It has special appeal to the youth as it provides unique opportunities to the students for group living, collective experience sharing and constant interaction with community. The NSS unit of Al-Ameen College of Law, Bangalore, organized a special camp in the adopted village, Dargajogihalli, Doddaballapura Taluk from 22-04-2019 to 28-04-2019. The main project for this camp was legal awareness. The Volunteers of the NSS unit performed many other activities – awareness programmes on female foeticide, tree plantation, campus cleaning, health and hygiene, street play, communal harmony, free legal consultation, free health check-up, breast cancer awareness, free distribution of medicine etc.
